What’s proposed: A major town centre with 50,000m2 of retail and commercial uses, a civic building, over 2,700 dwellings, a retirement village, public open space, riparian conservation corridors, community and leisure facilities and schools.
Our role: We are partnering with the Greenfields Development Company to develop the largest landholding within the Southwest Growth Centre. Our role is to deliver the first 2,700 lots within the larger 8,000 lot Oran Park precinct and facilitate the development of the town centre.
Where it’s up to: Currently in the delivery phase. Launched in 2010 we have now sold over 1500 lots and have over 600 dwellings completed. Civil works for the subdivision, services, infrastructure and the public domain are currently underway with a major intersection to The Northern Road scheduled to open later this year. We are focusing on the delivery of the first stage of the town centre with a proposal to open an integrated health care centre and smart work hub in late 2014.
Features: This project sets the benchmark for housing diversity, urban design, communications, infrastructure and town centre development in the Southwest Growth Centre. The development currently features two schools, a retirement village, 43 home display village, major open space that includes sporting field complexes and environmental conservation and riparian corridors with construction underway on other major facilities. One of our key objectives is to provide major facilities including schools, retirement homes and significant community leisure and retail facilities which are in the very early stages of development.
