Where: Richardson Road, Spring Farm
What’s proposed: 1,400 dwellings, a neighbourhood centre, extensive bush corridor areas and new village parks.
Our role: We own and manages this project, which provides an important supply of greenfield land and housing in Sydney’s southwest growth corridor.
Where it’s up to: Land sales commenced in July 2011, with the first 230 lots now constructed and sold. A large rolling construction program is currently underway onsite, to supply some 600 lots to the market between June 2013 and June 2015. Construction is also well advanced on the first section of Liz Kernohan Drive (due to open in mid 2014) that will provide an important road linkage between the Spring Farm Release Area and the Camden Bypass.
Features: East Village provides an affordable entry point into the Camden property market. It features a diverse range of lot types within a bushland setting and ready access to the regional road network via Liz Kernohan Drive as well as the proposed Spring Farm Village Centre. Sustainability initiatives include the conservation of bushland and riparian corridors and a bio-retention system integrated within the main boulevards.
